A general retail shop usually has thousands of small items, many of which never came with a barcode: a pack of pens, a door hinge, a hair clip. QuPOS generates an EAN-13 or Code-128 barcode for every item that lacks one and prints labels with your shop name, price and MRP, so the whole shop becomes scannable.
At the counter the cashier scans or presses F2 to search by name or code. Discounts, holding a bill while the customer fetches one more item, splitting payment between cash and UPI, and printing all happen from the keyboard. Billing works fully offline, so a broadband outage never stops the queue.

Can I bill items that have no barcode?
Yes. Search with F2 by name or code, or let QuPOS generate an EAN-13 or Code-128 barcode for the item and print a label so it can be scanned next time.
Which barcode scanners work?
Any USB or Bluetooth scanner that works in keyboard mode, which is almost every scanner sold for shops. No driver or setup inside the software is needed.
Can I give a contractor a wholesale price?
Yes. Every item stores a wholesale price alongside the sale price and MRP, and you can also apply a line or bill discount.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Billing, printing, stock and reports all work fully offline. Internet is only used to download the software and check for updates.
