The QuPOS app

QuPOS is a desktop application. Your bills, items, customers, suppliers, stock and reports are stored on your own computer (in %ProgramData%\QubhaBilling) or in your own Microsoft SQL Server. We do not receive, host or have access to this data.

The app connects to the internet only to check https://qupos.in/version.json for updates and to download new versions. That request is a normal web request; like any website, our server may log the IP address, time and app version for security and to count downloads. No business data is included.

Licence activation is offline. When you buy, you send us your Machine ID, which is a code derived from your PC used only to issue your licence key.

This website

This website does not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers. Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, page, time, browser) for security and to understand traffic. These logs are kept for a limited time and are not sold or shared.

When you contact or buy

If you message us on WhatsApp, email or phone, or pay through our payment provider, we receive the details you give (name, phone, email, Machine ID, payment reference) and use them only to issue and support your licence and to keep legally required business records. The payment provider processes card and UPI details under its own privacy policy; we do not see your card number.

Your choices

You can ask us to see or delete the contact details we hold about you, except records we must keep by law. Contact us.
