Licence terms

Last updated 5 November 2026. These terms summarise how QuPOS is licensed.

1. Free trial

You may install and use QuPOS free for 30 days with all features. After the trial, unless a licence is activated, the software becomes read-only: you can view bills, run reports and take backups, but cannot create new bills or purchases. Your data is not deleted.

2. Lifetime licence

  • The lifetime licence costs ₹1,500, paid once.
  • "Lifetime" means for the life of the product: for as long as Qubha continues to sell and support QuPOS. It is not tied to a person's lifetime or to a calendar period.
  • One licence = one PC. Each licence key is issued for one Machine ID. Every PC (billing counter) running QuPOS needs its own licence.
  • All updates released during the life of the product are included.

3. Moving a licence

If you replace your PC or its Machine ID changes after reinstalling Windows or changing hardware, contact us with proof of purchase and both Machine IDs. We may move the licence to the new PC; the old PC stops being licensed.

4. What you may not do

  • Share, sell or publish licence keys.
  • Use one licence key on more than one PC.
  • Reverse engineer, crack or bypass licensing.

5. Your data

Your data belongs to you and is stored on your computer or your SQL Server. You are responsible for backups; the software provides manual and automatic backup tools.

6. Taxes and compliance

QuPOS helps you calculate and print GST, VAT or sales tax as you configure it. You are responsible for setting correct rates and for meeting your local tax, invoicing and e-invoicing rules. QuPOS does not file returns or generate government e-invoices.

7. Refunds

Because every feature can be tested free for 30 days before buying, licence fees are generally non-refundable once a key has been issued. If a key was issued in error, contact us.

8. Warranty and liability

The software is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, Qubha is not liable for indirect losses, lost profits or data loss. Our total liability is limited to the licence fee you paid.
