How to print an A4 GST tax invoice

Print a full A4 tax invoice from QuPOS with your logo, GSTIN, customer details, CGST/SGST or IGST breakup, HSN summary and amount in words. Save it as PDF.

About 10 minutes · Applies to: Barcode Billing, Supermarket, Textile, Mobile Shop

Business customers usually need a full tax invoice rather than a thermal receipt. QuPOS can print the same bill on A4 (or A3 for very long bills), or save it as PDF.

You will need

  • Any A4 printer (laser or inkjet)

Steps

  1. Fill in your business details

In Settings → Shop, enter your shop name, address, state, state code and GSTIN, and upload your logo.

  2. Set HSN codes and tax %

Make sure each item has an HSN code and the right GST %. These drive the tax breakup and the HSN summary.

  3. Choose the A4 format

In Settings → Printing, choose A4 and select your A4 printer. You can keep a thermal printer for walk-in bills and use A4 when needed.

  4. Select the customer

On the billing screen, press F3 and choose or add the customer with their GSTIN and state. A customer in another state makes the invoice use IGST instead of CGST + SGST.

  5. Save and print

Press F9. The invoice shows the GST breakup, HSN summary and amount in words.

  6. Save as PDF

To send the invoice by email or WhatsApp, use Save as PDF and attach the file.

Tips and troubleshooting

  • Use the GST summary report (rate-wise and HSN-wise) at month end for your returns.
  • QuPOS prints tax invoices; it does not generate e-invoice IRNs or e-way bills.
